BDI Racing Fact Sheet - PASS South, Watermelon Capital Speedway, April 26, 2008
Zach Stroupe - #51 Chevrolet Impala SS

- BACK IN THE SADDLEWhen the green flag drops on the April 26th in the PASS South Super Late Model event at Watermelon Capital Speedway (GA), it will be the first time in more than a month that Zach Stroupe is back behind the wheel of the BDI Racing #51 Chevrolet Impala SS since his fourth-place finish in the PASS South opening event at Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) on March 22nd .

- BETTER THAN BEST CORDELE? Stroupe's fourth-place finish at Hickory in March was the 15-year-old's career-best Super Late Model finish. The Watermelon Capital event will be his ninth-career SLM start.

- BDI HELPS CHEVY HELP AUTISMBDI Racing, Zach Stroupe and team owner and SPEED broadcaster Bob Dillner are joining forces with Chevrolet to raise awareness of autism, the neurological disorder that afflicts one in every 150 individuals in the United States . BDI Racing will “Help Chevy Help Autism” by donating 10 percent of all the team's winnings of its events during the month of April to Autism Speaks, the country's top private funder of research uncovering the cause, prevention, treatments and cure of autism. In addition, SPEED's Bob Dillner will join BDI Racing's Super Late Model driver Zach Stroupe in an autograph session at the “Watermelon 125” on April 26th at WCS to help raise awareness of autism and funds for the Autism Speaks organization.

The #51 Chevy Impala SS will make its first trip to Watermelon Capital this weekend, but Stroupe knows his way around there already.

- SLEEPIN' & EATIN' WELLThe BDI Racing #51 Chevrolet Impala SS team will enjoy the cozy confines of Country Inn & Suites in Cordele, GA , this weekend. Also, the BDI Racing team will also fuel up for the race at Cutter's Steak & Buffet, also in Cordele.

- REST UP FOR LESS - PASS Super Late Model teams will receive special rates from Country Inn & Suites in Cordele , GA , via a special program put together with BDI Racing and driver Zach Stroupe.  Teams making reservations this week will receive their rooms for $79 per night (normal pricing for rooms are $119 per night). To make your reservation, please call Country Inn and Suites at (229) 273-7117 and ask for Tammi Griffin for the special pricing.

- IT'S BEEN A WHILEWatermelon Capital Speedway is hosting its first-ever PASS South event on April 26th , but Stroupe has an advantage of having been to the 3/8-mile, high-banked facility before – but it was all the way back in June of 2006. On that night, Stroupe piloted the #51 Pro Challenge Series ride to a second-place finish.

- BOND AT HOME IN GEORGIABEC (Bond Engineering & Consulting) is the company owned by BDI Racing Super Late Model crew chief Bond Suss. It appears on the car for the first time at WCS. Suss is a former championship winning ASA crew chief for Joey Clanton, who is also a Georgia native. In fact, Suss spent a year-and-a-half in Georgia with that team and tested several times at WCS.

- BACK IN THE SWING OF THINGSWhile it's been a few weeks since Stroupe was last in his #51 Chevy, the Watermelon Capital event kicks off a busy stretch for the youngster and the BDI Racing team. After the April 26th PASS South race, Stroupe's 12-year-old brother, Nick, and 14-year-old Meghan Dillner (BDI Racing team owner Bob Dillner's daughter), will compete in the Pro Challenge Series event at Lanier National Speedway (GA) on May 3rd. The #51 Chevy will then hit Motor Mile Speedway (VA) for the PASS South SLM race on May 10th.

- FAST IN FRANKLIN Last weekend, April 19th, BDI Racing team members Nick Stroupe and Meghan Dillner visited Franklin County Speedway (VA) for a Pro Challenge Series event and were two of the most impressive drivers on the track. Stroupe was quick off the trailer and set fast time in qualifying, earning his fourth pole in four events this season. Dillner, in her first-ever Pro Challenge Series event, impressed everyone in attendance and qualified fifth. Unfortunately for both, Mother Nature intervened before the feature race could go green, wiping out the event.
