Meghan Dillner Gets Back in the Pro Challenge Swing at Lanier
Ice Cold Shriners Bowl Gets BDI Racing Team Back on the Track

There were no points and no big paychecks on the line for Meghan Dillner on Sunday, January 11th at Georgia's Lanier National Speedway. The 20-lap Ice Cold Shriner's Bowl event was simply an opportunity for Dillner and the BDI Racing team to get back on the track with the #51 Chev-Stang for the first time since the 2008 season concluded in early November.

The event, which was a preseason exhibition, did not go the way that the team wanted, but the entire at-track operation learned valuable information in their seventh-place run that can go a long way towards the team's goal of earning the 2009 Pro Challenge Series National Championship.

"Even though the race didn't turn out as the BDI team was hoping it would, I was just happy to be getting back into the Pro Challenge car," said Dillner. "I've been missing racing the Chev-Stang all winter and am looking forward to the start of the upcoming 2009 season.  Regardless of the results at the end of the night, our team always has a good time at the track and going to Lanier gave me an idea of the fun we're going to have this year."

Dillner's regular season Pro Challenge schedule will be announced soon.
