Today was a blast at the track. We all had a fun time and learned a lot about the car. At the beging of the day, we bolted on four new Hoosier 3035 tires and it really helped the handling of the #51 Mac Tools Chevrolet.
The first time out on the track we made a five-lap run and the car was pretty good. We made some changes to the stagger and that helped car even more. We did a few more runs and as the day went on we made more adjustments and really got the car dialed in. I'm really happy with how everyone on the team has really come together as one and we have been able to get the car really good.
Stix (Jason Buckley) was awsome with the camera today and got a lot of awsome pics for us. The forecast is calling for rain tomorrow so we will have to wait and see how everything will pan out. I hope to be able to get some practice in before we jump right into qualifying. Make sure to come out to the track tomorrow night and checkout qualifying!
