BDI Racing, based in Concord, North Carolina, announced today a marketing partnership with Steele Rubber Products for the PASS South Super Late Model tour's “Old Glory 150” event on Saturday, May 29th at North Carolina's Concord Speedway. Steele Rubber Products colors and logos will adorn the BDI Racing #51 Chevrolet piloted by Bobby Measmer, Jr. in the highly-anticipated event during the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 weekend in the Charlotte area.

“We feel we have a good shot with Bobby Measmer, Jr. behind the wheel, and now with Steele Rubber Products coming on board, our efforts will be strengthened to the point where I feel that we will contend for another PASS South victory,” said Bob Dillner, who's team went to victory lane back in 2008 at Motor Mile Speedway in Virginia. “A lot of people don't realize that Steele Rubber provides spring rubbers and more to NASCAR teams all the way to short track teams all across America and we plan on increasing their exposure within the Super Late Model scene with a strong run at Concord.

Already a loyal supporter of the short track scene, Steele Rubber Products will be making their debut on the BDI Racing #51 Chevy in the team's first PASS South event of the 2010 season.

“Steele is excited to partner with BDI racing for this event,” said Eric Saltrick, Vice President of Marketing for Steele Rubber Products. “Our partnership with BDI continues our support of local and short track racing, as well as helping in the development of young drivers.  Our relationship with BDI is a win-win for both of us, because we receive important feedback on our rubber suspension parts from on-track testing.  As the manufacturer of the most successful line of spring rubbers in competitive racing, Steele depends on these types of partnerships to continue to improve our line of racing parts.”

From weatherstripping and seals to molded rubber parts, Steele offers the most comprehensive line of restoration rubber parts available for cars, trucks and street rods. Steele supports local racing because race fans are just “car folks” like they are. From asphalt and dirt tracks to dragways, Steele is actively involved in promoting the success of local racing.

BDI Racing's partners for the “Old Glory 150” event at Concord Speedway on May 29th include: Racing Electronics, Celebrity's Hot Dogs of Concord, NC, Team Chevy, Mac Tools, ARBodies.com, Hedman Husler Hedders, Schaeffer's Specialized Lubricants and Performance Friction Brakes. More sponsorship announcements will follow in the coming days.
